METCHOSIN – Evelyn Braunschmidt is counting down the days until a visit from her cousins in Scotland. There’s been a big change in all our lives in seven years (since their last visit) so I’m hoping for a visit if someone can fix that volcano for us please. An eruption in Iceland has left behind a gigantic cloud of volcanic ash, barely perceptible from the ground, but thick enough that it could clog jet engines, bringing down aircraft. The ash has led to fluctuating no-fly zones across Europe, where Braunschmidt’s cousin’s are crossing their fingers in Perth. This is also a hectic time for travel agents on the island, who have clients stuck in Europe and not sure when they can get home. Rick Johnson is trying to help a young Victoria family stuck in Amsterdam who couldn’t fly today, but will have another shot Saturday. Amsterdam will be opening up tomorrow at 6am, and most European hub cities are opening up between 6 and 10 says Johnson. At least that was the hope on Friday. There was early optimism in Vancouver that European departures could resume Friday night — but flights to London, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam were again cancelled. That is why it is highly advisable to undergo formal training as a pharmacy technician in order to have better chances of receiving higher pharmacy technician salary, even if you already graduated from a higher educational level.

Employers usually refund the expenses incurred when his pharmacy technician decides to undergo additional training to further hone his skills, which also means the technician is advancing his knowledge for free. A US Department of Labor report said the demand for pharmacy technician jobs would continue to increase year by year into 2016, yet another reason to pursue a career as a pharmacy technician, not to mention the stable income and job security it presents.
